Data controller
The main purpose of the website is to inform about the Congress on Care and to manage registrations for it. This page is managed by the Eguía-Careaga Foundation:

The Eguía-Careaga Foundation, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR), assumes the legal obligations regarding the protection of personal data, especially with regard to:

a) The existence of files or processing of personal data.
b) The purpose of the data collection.
c) The recipients of the information.
d) The optional or obligatory nature of the questions we ask.
e) The consequences of obtaining the data or of refusing to supply them.
f) The possibility of exercising the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition.
g) The identity and address of the data controller or, where appropriate, his or her representative.

For which purpose the data will be processed
The data provided by users through the form on the Congress website will be strictly necessary, appropriate and relevant for the purpose for which they are collected and will be subject to automated processing.

Data retention
The data will be kept as long as you do not exercise your right to cancel them.

Data collection
The data affected by this treatment are data that have been provided to us by the interested parties themselves, and which they have authorised us to use after prior information. Users are informed that their data will be incorporated into an automated file, for which the Eguía-Careaga Foundation is responsible.

To whom your data will be disclosed
No data will be communicated to third parties, unless legally obliged to do so. In the event that we intend to do so, we will first seek the consent of the persons concerned.

Entitlements
Any person has the right to know whether or not the Eguía-Careaga Foundation is processing their personal data.
You have the right to access your personal data, which means being able to know which of your data is being used, for what purpose and the period of use, among other information. This also includes the right to request rectification of data that is inaccurate or incomplete and even to request deletion when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
If your personal data have been made public and the data controller is obliged to erase the data, you may request the data controller to take measures to notify all data controllers of your intention to erase the data (right to be forgotten).
Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, data subjects may, at any time, send a written communication, indicating their name and ID card number, to the following address:
